As the harvest season concludes, wineries throughout the Pacific Northwest can accumulate a surplus of wine that exceeds their local market demand. To mitigate potential revenue loss, the excess wine is sold off in bulk to white labels like that of Grand Terroir Wine Co. who are then able to bottle and distribute premium wines at a lower price point.

The vision for the labels aimed to capture the essence of the local terroir; the combination of soil, climate, geographical location, and tradition from where a wine is produced. Topography maps are used throughout to highlight each American Viticultural Areas (AVA's). These maps paired with natural rich hues enhance the distinctiveness of each region and helps to offer a true note of what the Pacific Northwest has to offer.
